The leaves are falling up, down, and all around. Even with the windows closed, I hear the sound they make when the wind bends branches and the leaves break free. The carpet on the front lawn is a sea of yellow red orange leaves.

The changing trees this year are striking. Just striking. Like giant firecrackers on big sticks. I can't peel my eyes away.

Lesson time: learning again that sometimes, you need to make hard decisions on your own, by yourself. And knowing you have support from family and friends, no matter which way you fall is all that you need to know to move forward. (Ultimately of course, and more than that, trusting in a Heavenly Father and Holy God who loves you.) We need people to cheer us on. And when people are by your side cheering you on, listen to them and believe what they're telling you. You can do it.
Sometimes even when you think your wobbly knees can't stop knocking together enough to support yourself and you're not sure you can handle it- you can.
We've all seen better days, we've all seen worse days, and we haven't seen everyone's every days- so don't judge harshly and quickly- I'm prone to this. There's always so much more than meets the eyes.

Preaching to myself today. Thanks for reading.
