There's a photo of a man

playing a piano

in a room

        in a city

destroyed by a     blast

that killed people.

His fingers grasp the keys and

he plays in the

             rubble

Raymond Essayan's bent shoulders tell me

        something that matters

You don't run away from tragedy

you sit in the

                chaos

               of wounds

     and play their song
