Poised in harmony, pink and yellow tulips stand tall and say, "Look, here we are, beautiful and colorful."So I stop and watch them for awhile.

I enjoy the bright colors.
I enjoy the shape of the petals.
I enjoy the way the long green stems fold over the blue vase.

My mom asks if I'd like to take the tulips home.
They've bended like a tired child's head,
still beautiful as they fall to sleep.
I'll enjoy them for as long as they're awake.

Thank you for all the colors you've put in the world, God.
