My brother has told me multiple times his strong opinions on girls getting bangs. Yes, he has opinions about that. Very strong ones, too. Yesterday afternoon, I surprised myself by saying I wanted to get bangs. Less than an hour later, against his wishes. . . chop chop.
Our conversation before the cut:
-I might get bangs.
"Ha, ha. Very funny."
-I'm serious.
"PLLEEAASSSE do not."
-I'm thinking about it.
"Okay. Suit yourself. But I advice you not to. I think it takes all the prettiness away from a girl when she gets bangs."
Well, I have bangs now.
. . . . .
This weekend called for a change of scenery. So in the snow and slush, we walked to the zoo and conservatory. I think I should do that once every week until outdoors starts to look like the indoors of a green house. The smells, the sounds, the warmth, and all the green . . it was so wonderful.
^^particularly inclined to these pansies^^
^^just a beautiful stone floor^^
Winds in the east
mist coming in
like something is brewing
about to begin.
Can't put my finger
on what lies in store
but I feel what's to happen
has happened before.

Emily, you look SO GOOD with those bangs!! I really love them on you! You are inspiring me to bring my bangs back (sorry, Joe).
Well thanks, Susie! :) You look great with them too! Maybe together we can convince Joe that they're not horrible. haha!
