Attempt

Yesterday, I attempted to ski outside with my sister.
It worked fairly well considering my ski shoes were 3 sizes to big and hers were too small. After falling numerous times, we finally made it to a little hill. After going down once, I was done. I was done not only because my fingers were so cold they were aching and it was hard to hold on to the ski poles, I was done because I was afraid I was going to twist my ankle. Needless to say, we had a lot of fun. Right, sista?

Well, let's hear it from you! Have you been out and about in the snow this winter? Sledding? Skiing? Skating? Snowangeling? Snowfortbuilding? Snowman building?
Snowman. . . Snowman. . . That reminds me of the winter my brother and I made snowman after snowman in the front yard. We were inspired by Calvin and Hobbes. Our snowmen looked just like these ones:

Soon enough, our front yard was filled with our "operation build snowmen like Calvin and Hobbes" work. The best part was watching people walk by. Some would give horrified glances at the snowmen, then at us, and quickly scurry along. Others would stop, stare, and walk on with a surprised face and large, unblinking eyes. Our favorite people who walked past were the ones who stopped, stared and started laughing uncontrollably.
Oi! That was the best snowmen operation I have ever done. It was sooo fun. Right, brother? Right.
